While inspecting the ship for any crew or cargo, the Navy did manage to capture a shot of the engine room which doesn’t look as bad as the rest of the ship.
Perhaps with a little bit of tender loving care, this ship might just be lucky enough to sail off into the sunset again. Maybe the Navy could post it on eBay or Craigslist, and someone who’s been desperate for their next project could have a go at restoring the Sam Ratulangi to its former glory.
