The ship was visible from the shore, but someone needed to come onboard to check it out (we can only imagine how terrifying that would have been). This mysterious vessel was discovered to be Sam Ratulangi PB 1600, and the last time anyone had heard from it had been years ago.
In fact, almost a decade had passed since anything had come of the ship. The Sam Ratulangi is a container ship that was used to transport massive amounts of cargo. It was built in 2001, but after eight years of service, it disappeared completely.
