There was another case authorities were researching in this context – in March 2018 what was dubbed the “Holy Grail” of shipwrecks washed up on the shore of a Florida beach.
A historic 18th-century sea vessel washed up on the shore and had researchers licking their lips at this amazing discovery. There wasn’t a huge amount of the ship left, so before they moved and inspected it, researchers got to work creating a 3D model of the boat. It was discovered by a mother and son who were walking on the beach one morning.
