If you’ve ever been to Hawaii, you’ll know that their surnames are often a little difficult to understand if you’re not native to the country. However, you can normally work it out when you spend a little time really looking at the letters and slowly making it into a word that makes sense.
If you want to make sense of Janice’s surname, though, we hope that you’ve got a few hours on your hands – because you’re gonna be here a while. Although we’re sure it’s a beautiful name, we’re just gonna call her Janice K.

Although we’re sure that Laura loves her job at the deli, we can’t help but think that it must be a little confusing every so often. After all, a customer may come up to her, take one look at her name tag, and ask for their deli choice.
“Laura Hamm, please.” Is that a question, or were they just reciting her name? Are they simply calling the lovely woman by her full name, or are they really asking her to hand them over some ham? That’s a whole lot of confusion we just don’t have time for.
