A lot of people like to start their day with a television providing some background noise, while they clear the cobwebs and get ready for the day ahead. So imagine living in England, and tuning into BBC Breakfast – presumably a morning show.
You just so happen to catch an interview with a volunteer in an organization called the Samaritans. You’re busy getting ready, so you’re only half listening and not really watching. Finally, you steal a glance at your set, and meet Alan Toogood, the Samaritans volunteer, and wonder if you’re still asleep.
