Whenever we see a particularly funny name, we wonder if the person’s parents chose that name for them on purpose, then dismiss such notions. After all, nobody could be mean enough to saddle their kid with a silly name on purpose.
However, when it comes to the venerable Chip Munk, we have to amend our previous declaration – as this could only be the result of parents who knew exactly what they were doing. At least they’ve made the best of the situation and developed some memorable advertising.
