It’s scary to think that the ‘70s started almost 50 years ago. We’d say it feels like only yesterday, but you have to admit, five decades ago is a long time. It’s incredible how quickly time has flown by, though. You never really appreciate it until it’s gone and all you’re left with is the memories, both good and bad. As with any decade, the ‘70s was filled with its shares of ups and downs.

Maybe that would be good in some situations, but a lot of our technology had its start during that period. Could you imagine not having all the high-tech gadgets that are available to us now? For good or bad, the ‘70s shaped our lives, and it’s important to remember where we came from. Sometimes you have to remind yourself of what life was once like to realize how good you have it now.

The game came out in the early ‘70s and was the first commercially successful video game ever created. It might look simple – it was – but we wouldn’t have titles like “Call of Duty” and “Fifa” if it weren’t for “Pong.” That might be hard to believe, but this is a game that changed the world.
