Fashion in the ‘70s was very different to how it is now. Sure, some people might adopt looks from past decades because they’re totally retro. However, for the most part, people wouldn’t dare wear the same clothes as people from 40+ years ago.
No-one questioned the fads at the time though. Bell bottoms were everywhere, and they went great with some platform shoes – the higher, the better. Even men were getting in on the trend, because who doesn’t want to be that extra bit taller?
