What would kids today be without their video games? Companies like Sony have completely changed how children spend their free time. It’s a world away from the ‘70s when the height of excitement was “Pong.”
The game came out in the early ‘70s and was the first commercially successful video game ever created. It might look simple – it was – but we wouldn’t have titles like “Call of Duty” and “Fifa” if it weren’t for “Pong.” That might be hard to believe, but this is a game that changed the world.

Families just don’t spend as much time together as they used to. During the ‘70s, sitting down with your parents to watch television was like a big event, partly because owning a TV was much more of a luxury than it is now.
Sure, you didn’t have 32 inch flat screens back then, but TV was still just as enjoyable, if not more so. The only problem was that you had to sit a little closer to see what was happening on the screen, which wasn’t great for your eyes.
