Kids born in the 21st century would struggle if they had to grow up with the toys that were around in the ‘70s. There were no smartphones and 4K gaming consoles back then. All you had to keep you entertained was your pet rock. Literally.
Why would you go out and pick out any old rock off the sidewalk when you could buy a special one that came in its own box. It even had a guide on how to take care of your new pet, because why wouldn’t it?

The film industry was booming in the ‘70s, and it was thanks to mega-hits like the musical drama “Saturday Night Fever.” It came out one year before “Grease,” another film that proved John Travolta had a knack for musicals.
The actor’s best-known films came in this decade, and they’re still beloved by viewers now, many of whom weren’t even born in the ‘70s. What’s more, these movies captured the fashion of the time perfectly. Why does no-one ever go clubbing dressed like this anymore?
