The ‘70s wasn’t all fun and games. Some pretty major events happened in that decade, not all of which were great. One of the most memorable was the oil crisis which led many gas stations to put up signs like this.
Although there are more cars around now, it’s hard to imagine ever going to get gas and there not being any left. The shortage in the ‘70s meant thousands of cars sat deserted on the roads in scenes that we haven’t seen the likes of since.
