Before people turned to the internet and video games for mind-bending puzzles, we had the Rubik’s Cube. A simple toy with a very basic premise, this provided hours of fun… and frustration.
Completing the cube was like the greatest accomplishment ever, and there was nothing worse than thinking you’d done it and discovering you’d messed up somewhere. Newer versions of the cube have gotten overly complicated in their designs, but we don’t see what was wrong with the classic look. It was just as challenging to solve.
