If someone hasn’t tried this caramel creation, they might look at you like you’re crazy if you tell them you love eating Cow Tales. Goetze’s Candy Company was actually trying to name the item based off of the children’s nursery rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle, which is why the name is tale not tail and there is a cow jumping over the moon on the wrapping. The stick-shaped candy is chewy with a creamy vanilla inside and comes in caramel, strawberry, chocolate, and caramel apple flavors.
