Twix is that delicious combination of creamy milk chocolate, smooth caramel, and the added texture of a crunchy cookie underneath. The U.S. couldn’t let the U.K. have all the fun after introducing Twix in 1967, so they brought the candy bar over to the ‘Merica in 1979, changing the name from the British’s Raider to Twix as a play on words for twin biscuits because of the two sticks together. Today, Twix are still popular and are one of America’s favorite chocolate bars.
