Major league baseball players are notorious for chewing tobacco during their games and multiple baseball movies have shown them doing so. In 1980, a few MLB players actually decided to create and pitch the idea of a chewing gum that imitates the habit so that fans can feel like they’re also in the big leagues and it became more popular than anyone ever could have expected. The packs of shredded pink bubble gum are still enjoyed by people of all ages today, especially major baseball fanatics.
