Wheel of Fortune hostess Vanna White has been leading the series since it debuted in 1983. Although she initially pursued an acting career, White focused entirely on Wheel of Fortune after booking the gig. She earns a salary of $4 million from the game show. She was engaged to actor John Gibson in the ’80s but he tragically passed away in a plane crash in 1986. She married restaurateur George Santo Pietro in 1990. The couple have two children together and divorced in 2002.
