Not long after she entered and won her local Venus Swimwear competition, Karen McDougal quickly became one of the most famous models of the 1990s. She rose to ultimate fame in 1998, when Hugh Hefner chose her as the winner of that year’s Playmate of the Year. The brunette beauty made history the following year, after she became the first woman to ever grace the cover of Men’s Fitness Magazine. She then switched her career to focus more on fitness modeling, and has appeared in dozens of fitness and bodybuilding magazines since.
