Without a doubt, Nadia Comăneci is one of the greatest athletes of all time. She became the very first gymnast to earn a perfect score of 1.0 at any Olympic Games. She won three gold medals at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games and another two more at the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. In 1993, she was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. Last year, an area in Olympic Park in Montreal was renamed Place Nadia Comăneci in honor of the star gymnast.
