Game of Thrones is known for being pretty racy, but there was one improvised kissing scene that actually roped in an innocent bystander. In the season 7 episode “Stormborn,” Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma) and Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) share an intimate moment.
They then improvised a kiss, which Whelan said seemed like “something we should do.” However, as that kiss took place on a ship in the middle of battle and Whelan threw her back out, her stunt double had to step in – and kiss Varma! “She was so terrified,” Varma said of the stunt double.
