While he’s more of an action star these days, Chris Pratt first came to prominence in a comedy role – that of Andy on Parks and Rec. That role also gave him plenty of room to wing it, and he did, but that doesn’t mean that he forgot his improv roots when he hit it big. Take 2015’s Jurassic World, for example.
Throughout the film Pratt’s Owen does most of the heroics, until he needs Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire to save his behind. When she does, though, taking down a flying dinosaur, he locks lips with her. That scene was filmed on the shoot’s last day, with Pratt and director Colin Trevorrow conspiring to surprise Howard with the kiss. It worked!
