Michael Scott was the best character on The Office, and the fact that a gifted comedic actor like Steve Carell played him didn’t hurt either. His tendency to blow everything way out of proportion was always amazing fodder for cringe humor, and the season three premiere episode was possibly the best example.
When Michael leans that one of his employees, Oscar Martinez, is LGBT, he decides to show how tolerant he is. While the scene only called for Carell to hug actor Oscar Nuñez, he decided to kiss him instead. Nuñez recalled praying no one would laugh and ruin the take. Thankfully, no one did.
