As devout born again Christians, Debbie and Shaun had been searching and searching for meaning in – and trying to make sense of – Glory’s passing.
One outlet for them to do that was creating a garden in her memory. The small garden, named after Glory, contains many painted birdhouses sent to the Riddles from supporters all across the United States – and the world. Still, Kayla’s random act of kindness inspired them to search even deeper, as they try to figure out what Glory’s tragically short life – and passing – meant.
