Obie is currently loving his life as a trim dachshund, but it seems as though Nora has a few plans for him that could make him even more popular within the surrounding community and across the rest of the world. According to Petful, Nora has her sights set on Obie becoming a service dog. After all, he has been through his own tough journey of weight-loss, so why not train him to help others? At the moment, there is no date to get the ball rolling with his training, but Nora has stated that she thinks Obie would be the perfect fit this new role.
