Then, Ewa was given one final lifeline. As her free-fall continued, somehow, someway, the glider reopened and the wings snapped back into place. Her fall was abruptly halted and she suddenly awoke with an abrupt jerk.
Ewa was slowly but surely regaining consciousness and noticing her surroundings. She was now back into the heart of the storm and thunder continued to roar around her. She was frozen in fear and ice, with her joints barely able to move. She was still in serious trouble. This was her last chance of survival.
