Ewa lay on the Australian savannah, frozen. She was shivering and shaking from the cold uncontrollably. To warm up her body, she was hugging herself as tight as she possibly could in an attempt to raise her dangerously low body temperature.
She was exhausted from being stranded in the sub zero conditions for so long. For her, it felt like hours. She was helpless. Her harness was still attached and she couldn’t even muster up the strength to get up.
