Ewa was coping, but she was still in critical condition – she was very much alive, conscious, and breathing. When they got to the hospital, the doctors were astounded. After checks and tests, Ewa was pretty much fine.
Well, as fine as you could be after what just happened to her that is. It was incredible how her body was mostly unaffected by the conditions she was exposed to – extreme altitudes, starvation of oxygen, extraordinary cold and ferocious winds…Ewa was a superwoman.
