Speaking of ancestors serving in the military, the man on the bottom snapped this photo in 2014 during his trip to Italy. He sat in the very same spot where his grandfather once posed in his Army uniform in 1944 at the Arno River in Florence while serving in World War II.
It is incredible to see how the buildings in the background have managed to stay somewhat the same after all these years. What a truly heartwarming tribute to his grandpa.
