If you are lucky enough to be chosen by a cat, then you have to accept that your entire life now revolves around what our kitty overlord needs. If they want food, then you get them food. No new toys? You have disappointed our leader.
If, by a miracle, you are chosen to be their place of relaxation, then you must stay still until they have decided to move on. Your boss will just have to accept that some things are meant to be.
