As much as we try and pretend to uphold the icy exterior we give off to the world, it can sometimes be hard to get yet another rejection letter – especially when it’s our dreams on the line.
James Breakwell was waiting to hear back about his latest book when he was concerned by the changes the editors wanted to make. It turned out the author was actually reading a rejection letter about a book he never even wrote. What a roller coaster of emotions for a somewhat disappointing payoff.
