If you’re familiar with the Netherlands, you’ll know that this country loves tulips. In fact, they are famous for them! Their tulips are known across the world, but did you know that they are also sent across the world?
Every single year, the Netherlands gathers up 20,000 tulip bulbs and sends them across the pond to their friends in Canada. This tradition was first put in place to thank for their support during the Second World War and continues today. How amazing is that?
