When you think of animals, you probably don’t think of dogs and penguins being friends – but that’s exactly what is occurring on a nearby island close to the land Down Under.
This particular island is home to a colony of small penguins, and their numbers were dwindling in the early ‘00s because foxes kept ordering penguin for their dinner. However, when two trained Maremma sheepdogs were put on the island, it became their job to guard the penguins as though their lives depended on it.
