The world is full of poverty-stricken areas and people, and while it’s going to take us much longer to combat the problem as a whole, things are changing. In fact, the UN states that around 1 billion people have risen out of extreme poverty over the past three decades.
While we still have a long way to go, it’s important to keep focusing on the achievements that have been made over the years when it seems as though the world is full of doom and gloom. There is hope for everyone.
