It’s many people’s worst fear to be struck by lightning, and this pole definitely got the wrong end of the stick when it was caught in the crossfire. While the lightning may have ravaged the bottom half of the telephone pole and burned it to smithereens, Mother Nature decided to spare the top half of the pole. Thanks to the wires, it was able to maintain its place in the line-up and look incredibly creepy and decrepit for the whole world to see. That must be fun for the locals.
