The doll was the property of Carolynne Seiffert, a Keene local. The doll in question was not the kind of doll you would play with as a child, but one that is more commonly known as a “reborn” doll. These dolls are created to look as real as possible and are often bought by parents who have lost a child in the early stages of their lives. That’s exactly what Carolynne had done. After the death of her son in 2005, Carolynne spent $2,000 to buy a replica doll.
