Another reason to have reborn dolls is because it is simply a hobby. Many girls play with dolls when as children, but somewhere along the way, they give it up. Some women have begun using these lifelike dolls as collectors items because they really just like playing with dolls. One woman, Silvia Heszterenyiova, calls herself a mother of 57, but only two of the children are real. She has collected 55 reborn dolls over the course of a few years after she received one as a birthday gift.
