Receiving a cancer diagnosis is one of those things no one thinks will ever happen to them, but unfortunately the risk isn’t as small as you might think. Approximately one in three develop some form of the disease in their lifetime, with mixed outcomes.
The most important tool in beating the disease is early detection and fast treatments. But even though we today have access to much better medical treatment than only twenty years ago, there is no full proof cure yet.
