Even if her future isn’t entirely clear this soon after the surgery, Samantha has both her niece, her colleagues and friends to cheer her up, support her, and remind her of how strong she is on her tough days.
For that she is grateful, and for the body armor that saved her life in the least expected of ways. Samantha joined the police force to help others and save lives at the risk of her own, who would have thought that decision would end up saving her?
