Meghan’s husband may well have saved her from making another faux pas in front of the British public, and the entire world. Not standing to attention when the national anthem was playing would have been a rookie mistake.
It’s something the Duchess shouldn’t need to be told about anymore. She’s been in the Royal Family for over a year now, and some of the mistakes she was previously given passes on are no longer excusable. Some people will find any reason to call her out, and this was essentially free ammunition for them.
