Ahhh, Hagrid. You’ve gotta love him, right? Rubeus Hagrid was one of the first wizards we ever met – if you can call him that. As a half-giant and former Hogwarts student, Hagrid was expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry after being wrongly accused of harboring a deadly creature. Although his wand was snapped in two, Hagrid managed to save the pieces and store it in his umbrella… but don’t tell anyone. As the gamekeeper and Care of Magical Creatures teacher, Hagrid is truly a gentle giant.
