Once the flames had been extinguished and the car became a safe husk, the teens decided to attach it to the back of their other car and take it home with them.
The car’s story did not end there, and they clearly wanted to document what had occurred. On the way home, the teens seemed full of excitement, and they couldn’t stop talking about what had happened, or their shock at the effect the WD-40 had had on their car.

On the drive back, the friends were deep in conversation about the events that had taken place.
And they also got onto the topic of who had been the victor with the wagers that they had all taken. They congratulated the friend who had gotten the closest guess, while the others were left to rue their predictions. Nobody got it exactly right, and, indeed, many had been too conservative, while others had been far too liberal.
