Of course, this was an entirely new experiment for the teenagers, and so they decided to spice things up a little.
As young guys often do, they decided to take a few wagers on what they thought the outcome would be. The principal bet was on how long the car might last with the WD-40 running it; the hope was that it would run as normal, however, this seemed improbable. There were differing predictions, ranging from 1 minute to 5 minutes, to the car being absolutely fine throughout.

To showcase their experiment to the world, and for posterity purposes, the teenagers decided that they would document the whole thing on video.
With one friend tasked with camera detail, another took the plunge and decided to turn the engine on. Some of the kids had stood well back, as they were half expecting the car to be blown sky-high at any moment! However, the opposite was actually true, and the vehicle seemed to be running perfectly fine. It sounded and felt no different to normal.
