However, as many imagined, the euphoria was short-lived, and things started to get worse as the journey progressed.
It became clear that the engine was starting to struggle in a big way, and the time on the road was clearly taking its toll. There was a high-pitched noise, followed by smoke billowing from the bonnet. This was a warning sign, and it was followed by an ominous smell of burning. The teens held firm, however, to see what would happen next.

Despite their excitement, these teens were at least sensible enough not to spend their entire time inside the car.
They knew they would have to pile out and observe the events unfolding from a safe distance away. After making their way out of the vehicle they made an important decision, they were going to see this through, and they were going to take things up a notch in order to make the most of it. They’d come this far, and there was no turning back now.
