Remember the friends who had been following in another car? Well, they also wanted in on the betting, so the teens all gathered around as a group to see what would become of the car.
Their experiment was reaching its impressive peak, and many of them must have been on tenterhooks. Nobody was quite sure of exactly what was going to happen, but they would find out imminently, and this was taking the excitement to brand new levels.

Once they turned the engine back on, the WD-40 kicked back in again, and the engine began to make a loud screeching sound.
Louder than usual now, it was almost as though the entire car itself was in distress, crying out to anyone who was listening! The friends knew the end was in sight, and the car was not long for this world. They must have been brimming with excitement and anticipation at what might happen.
