Nowadays, mothers pose proudly with their kids to show them off to their friends and family on Facebook. But things were different back in the Victorian era because mothers didn’t want to appear in these photos.
However, to keep their kids in check, these moms had to be with their kids – otherwise, they just wouldn’t stand still! This mother did so by placing a floral blanket over her whole body, but this just makes her look like some kind of ghoul who had a real thing for flowers.
