It would be easy to get bogged down in the negative and think that it was only people having a go at the Duchess and her decisions. However, there were also a great deal of positive responses, and people speaking out in defense of the decisions Kate had made.
Many parents understand the importance of having quality time together away from the children, and this was a good example of this. And over the years, it’s not exactly the only time Kate has broken Royal protocol.
