Michael Vick made NFL history when he was the first African-American quarterback to be picked in the first round of the draft. He had a glittering career while playing college football for Virginia Tech and he caught the eye of the Atlanta Falcons who just had to have the potential superstar.
While he was a promising prospect, Vic ran into some trouble with the law while playing for Atlanta and his carer suffered. Vick was traded by Atlanta as they felt he wasn’t the star they hoped he would become.
