Although Rex Grossman is from Indiana, he chose to take his college football career out of state and ended up playing for the Gators at the University of Florida. His college career was a success and Grossman was drafted to the Chicago Bears in 2003.
For five years he stuck with the Bears, even though his relationship with the fans was a strained one. Bears fans didn’t warm to their QB, and he was largely unliked by fans, even though Grossman was seen as a positive role model in Chicago itself.
