The end of his career with the Bears wasn’t the end of Grossman’s career, and after five years in Illinois, Grossman moved to Texas. He played one season with the Houston Texans, only getting on the field once in that time.
Grossman was traded to the Washington Redskins and spent three years with them, playing sporadically, before being relegated to third-choice QB. His last season with the Redskins ended in 2013, and after failed tryouts with the Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons, Grossman’s career was over.
