One thing many football players have to come to terms with is injuries, and often they cut short promising careers. Young had played in the NFL for four seasons, but after getting injured he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles.
After signing with the Eagles, Young claimed he would turn them into the dream team, but following three games the quarterback was dropped. He dropped out of the NFL, playing in the Canadian Football League before returning to the University of Texas in their alumni outreach office.
