After retiring from playing, Garcia wanted to take up coaching. He became a coach for the Montreal Alouettes in Canada, but after a matter of days, he decided he wanted to return to the NFL.
Garcia began coaching for the Los Angeles Rams, but his contract only ran for one year. The former QB married Carmella DeCesare in 2007, his wife was the Playboy Playmate of the Year in 2004, and together they have four children, two daughters and two sons.
